My best friend and I will be travelling from Australia to the UK then on to Europe and the US commencing March 08, and as my birthday falls on 18 March, we thought we couldn't pass up the opportunity to spend St Patricks day before it in Ireland, therefore I was hoping for some suggestions about where might be a good place to celebrate my 'late 20's' birthday! Any other suggestions about what to see would be appreciated, can't wait to get there!

Dublin should be fun, the Paddy's Day parade has come on a long way in recent years. Book your accommodation now though. Really, it gets very busy in Dublin that weekend.
