What religion would you consider the most closely involved with your faith? Or in other words: what other religion would you chose besides yours if you had to. Don't worry this won't be held accountable towards you, I am just curious.

This might seem like I am bashing Jews but I am not, I just simply find it interesting because Jesus was a Jew. And also I would think that if Christianity is wrong than it would have to be judaism that is right. So hey I'm just trying to see if in the end I'm wrong where am I gonna end up? Looks like it good for me because I say I'm going to heaven because I'm saved and well the Jews don't believe in that so sweet.

Well, to begin with if you claim a direct relation to Y'shua(Jesus Christ),you must remember something:Consider this, Jesus had told HIS disciples that HE & the Father were
in fact ONE! HE also said that whatever HE said to them the Father was saying as well !
Now that we have established this point then If you had accepted Jesus then you have become a member of HIS family as well! Now if you believe that Jesus is in fact Jewish then it only stands to reason that you are in fact Jewish too(since you are now a "New creation" a member of HIS family) HE said to deny(Give up everything and come Follow ME by picking up your cross(Changing the way you view things to His way of viewing things in your life! HE(Jesus) said to emulate his life
and copy HIS way of living! Some Jews have finally come to accept Jesus as their Messiah
and they are more blessed now because they I feel, are exactly where they should be. So I say to you this...Are YOU following Jesus or the World's view? I pray that you have become a follower of Jesus and not some point of view that will only result in your demise!

Noahide would be the number one most related and accepted. There is programs within Judaism to promote and make people more aware of it. I have not seen much development with Noahide but I imagine those 7 laws could be broken down to much more observances. I suspect it will become very detailed and many things will be in relation to Judaism.
ilovetorah.com has a video where he address how this could and should grown. He has a good point. I think any non Jew or non observant Jew should at least observe the things within noahide.

I would suppose that I can call myself a Noachide Chassid, which is the faith of the Jews in One G-d and worship no other humans, dead or alive, animals, crosses or any other graven image, following the seven laws of the covenant of Noah. So the answer to what religion would be the closest I would say Judaism. At one point I even considered converting but that would mean I would have to move, can't afford to.

Anybody who COULD consider choosing another faith must not be very secure in his own. Jews are Jewish because they KNOW that is the right path for them - just like atheists, Pagans, Hindus, etc. Like most other non-Christian religions, Judaism doesn't teach that any other path is 'wrong' for anyone else. Jews mind their own spiritual business, and don't try to push their beliefs on others, which is why they tend to be more respected than Christians.

I'm with Tehilla -- Judaism or nothing.

Edit: That being said, in the spirit of your question, I can assume for the sake of argument that "nothing" is not an option.

In that case, I would look into the Baha'i faith and Zoroastrianism.

The Baha'i principles are remarkable, and for the most part, I could live with them:

Unity of God
Unity of religion
Unity of mankind
Gender equality
Elimination of all forms of prejudice
World peace
Harmony of religion and science
Independent investigation of truth
Universal compulsory education
Universal auxiliary language
Obedience to government and non-involvement in partisan politics
Elimination of extremes of wealth and poverty.

For Zoroastrianism, I am afraid I would be a bit of a fundamentalist, rejecting the last 2700 years of development in their theology and practices, so joining them might not be practical.

I have no idea which other faith I would choose; I've only ever been Jewish and can't imagine being anything different!

By the way, in reference to what you say about where you will 'end up' - Judaism teaches that everyone, no matter what their religion, will have a place in the afterlife if they lead a moral life here on earth.

Hope that helps!

Actually, Jews don't believe that you're going to hell because you're Christian. We believe that the "righteous of all nations have a place in the world to come". Now you have to deal with the question of who is righteous, and that's another can of worms.

The only other monotheistic religion, besides Judaism, is Islam. But could I convert to Islam if I couldn't be Jewish? No. I know they're monotheists, but I just can't buy what they believe.

For me, it's Judaism or nothing.
