There is nothing like Hinduism but the Arabs who could not pronounce Indus. They pronounced it Hindus and thus our country got the name Hindustan. So if you feel that the practise of not joining an organised religion but to think and worship freely as you wish is Hinduism then yes it was prevalent in middle east before the advent of Islam.

Quite possibly. The Age of Taurus had a lot to do with cow worship. This was during the time of Egypt, Sumer and what we now know as India. They were all ruled by the same family. The bull was sacred to the Minoans during this time, also. World wide cow/bull worship.

I think you need to do a bit more research into the various religions at the time. Various cultures in that region had their own gods and goddesses, but mostly followed one or two.
On the side, I doubt that there was substantial contact between the middle eastern peoples and the Hindus until much later.

Its definitional -- call "Abrahamic" is a unifier based on the claimed originator of those 3 religions. Judaism strains its beginning to Abraham who went from Ur (aprox Kuwait) to Cannan (Israel) Christianity comes from Jesus who become a Jew residing in Israel Islam comes from Mohammad - an Arab. by way of fact the Jews hint their lineage to Isaak, son of Abraham, the Arabs hint their beginning to Ishmail, additionally a son of Abraham. in accordance to the "mythology" - Isaak inherited the land which later became Israel (named after Israel, son of Isaak) and Ishmail held Seir - that's Arabia.
