I have read the Bible and do not recall a specific color being cursed--usually it was a race of people at a certain time. Like a town or whatever. The Jews were warned to not marry a different race of people but that was due to religious reasons not race. Moses' wife was dark skin. Moses' sister was stricken with leprosy or a skin disease because she spoke against Moses' wife {Numbers 12}.

The curse of colored people is their way of thinking . Listem to Uncle Bill Cosby .
You Blacks make too much about slavery . That's far in the past . How much longer are you going to blame laziness , unwillingness to get an education , drugs , sex , gangs , and all the rest on he fact that your great great grandparents were slaves . There are thousands of black millionaires , and a couple of billionaires . Their ancestors were slaves too .
In the history of the world , there were far more white slaves than black . In the Roman Empire , there were more slaves than citizens , white slaves .
Don't look for excuses , or something to blame . Remember that Orientals are coming over , knowing nothing about our culture , nothing of our language , but before long they have businesses , good jobs , nice homes . They ask nothing of anybody . Their Oriental features are every bit as noticable as the color of your skin .
It's there for those who go for it . Those who want it brought to them will have a long hard wait . Good luck .

Because they're small-minded people who don't think for themselves. Fear is dangerous because it breeds ignorance and ignorance breeds hate. Don't lump all of us together. How do you like it when this is done to Africans? I've heard all types of ignorant things about you guys, but in the end, I have the good sense not to believe all a see and hear. Peace.

There is no biological or scientific basis for making distinctions based on race. Race is political. The skin disease myth comes from a misinterpretation of the "mark of Cain" in Genesis. It is just as likely that white people have the "mark of Cain", and the black people are chosen.

No. This is something put about by religious leaders. It is claimed that not only the slavery of blacks was in fulfillment of this Biblical curse, but their black skin color is too. Thus many whites have been led to assume that blacks are inferior, and that God meant for them to be the servants of whites. Many blacks became embittered by the treatment that they received as a result of this religious interpretation.
The Encyclopædia Judaica claims: “Ham’s descendant (Cush) Is black skinned as a punishment for Ham’s having had sexual intercourse in the ark.”
Similar “stories” have been manufactured in modern times. Defenders of slavery, such as John Fletcher of Louisiana, for example, taught that the sin that prompted the curse by Noah was racial intermarriage. He claimed that Cain was smitten with a black skin for killing his brother Abel, and that Ham had sinned by marrying into the race of Cain. It is noteworthy, too, that Nathan Lord, president of Dartmouth College during the last century, also attributed Noah’s curse upon Canaan partly to Ham’s “forbidden intermarriage with the previously wicked and accursed race of Cain.”

No. At one time it is written in the OT that God exiled and cursed someone (might be Shem) and he was the father of the dark race. But remember, neither Greek nor Jew, male of female, now everyone that is in Christ is the blessed race. The cursed race are the unbelievers.

Your skin color is not a curse. The Bible says that Jesus died for all nations, all tongues, all people. And then He rose again. If you believe that Jesus, who is God, died for your sins on the cross and rose again, you will be saved and go to heaven and not eternal hell

Allow me to share a scripture with you that you can then pass on ...
Acts 10:34 - "At this Peter opened his mouth and said: 'for a certainty I perceive that God is not partial, but in every nation the man that fears God and works righteousness is acceptable to him.'"
Have a great day.

It's neither a blessing or a curse. Every species on this planet has different shades and color variations, humans are no different.
