Thanks, JD that breakdown is exactly what I was looking for. I have no intention of selling the gun, just wanted to have an idea, plus I am evaluating my firearm values for insurance purposes.

Winchester Model 1894/94 Lever Action Rifle,24" or 26" Barrel,Open Sights, Round or Octagonal Barrel 32 Win Special Caliber Serial #103XXXX Manufactured between 1924-1936 when Winchester changed the Model number designation from Model 1894 to the Model 94 Winchester.

Values below are based on a percentage system that is based on percentage of "Original" finish and overall condition of the firearm listed........

Values on this firearm are current for October 2007. You will note that there are no prices for the firearm listed for anything above 90% conditioin. It is determined that few if any of these rifles exist in such condition unless they are mueseum pieces or in a private collection. These Firearms have Collectors value that will just increase since the sale of Winchester (USRA) several years back. I would suggest that you not sell this rifle, but keep it as an heirloom. It can only appreciate in price...
