First, select the text you would like to have doublespaced (highlight all of the characters - if you have already typed the document and want everything doublespaced, just go to the edit tab and click select all)

To change the spacing:

Go to the drop-downs at the top of the page. Using the FORMAT header select PARAGRAPH. In the middle of the box that comes up there will be a selection for SPACING. Change this to double. There will be a preview that appears so that you know you changed it.

Good luck on your essay!

First, just type the whole document as single spaced. PRINT and PROOF read carefully, so you get an A+. This will save you PAPER.

Then SELECT all of the text and go to the FORMAT menu and pick PARAGRAPH. Then select Double Space.

Good luck and Happy Computing!
