Seriously, have you? I am repeating this again for those who have not heard or do not know, but I am in Pakistan at this very moment. I've been to a high school for girls and to many shops. I've had people in houses around the ones I'm visiting come to the neighbor just to meet with and talk to me, very politely and in some cases, so nervous it was funny and we laughed. I'm here because my children have family here, but I also wanted to prove a point to those in the US who know me that no matter how many times I come here, I'm safe and know that there is no danger to me or my children. People know there is an American white woman here, and they literally either could not care or want to meet me and ask me if I like the country. Have you ever done something or gone somewhere just to prove a point?

Well yes I am now in Iraq and I joined the army to prove that I could do it and something with my self besides work for minimum wage after high school or be some loser that still dates high school girls 3 years after graduating, and partying at high school parties.

Yes, I've done many things just to prove a point but its always backfired on me some how.

My last marriage was to prove a point, and you know how that one turned out. *winces* I'm done trying to prove anything to anyone.

I admire you for trying to prove this one though, I'm just afraid people won't pay attention and get the point.

gday muslimah, yes i have especially in afghanistan at my last deployment. but funny many people liked us australians and americans alike. but when you head up to the afghan-pakistan border they are very "offensive' because they have a misconseptive view. Education is key to defeat extremism.

Instead of writing it here where people will think you are bipolar or desperate or something, you could write a narrative biography about your times in Pakistan.

Kaching! :-)

And yes, I have. I can't talk about it coz it's something I put behind me, and it was a good thing, but it would not be good to put on this account....

Watch your back, and your neck. You are a fool to take your children into a country where many hate Americans.
I would like to see a hearing when you come back to America to possibly remove your children from your care before you get them killed.
