It just won't be the same without the orgeat.
I know you have looked for the orgeat, but I'll offer another suggestion on finding it. Look in the coffee aisle of your supermarket, or anyplace that sells the flavored syrups people put in coffee. I believe the manufactruers of those syrups make an orgeat. If not, almond flavored syrup is your closest substitute.
Orgeat is tough to find most places. I have a local beverage store that stocks it along with a lot of other hard to find coctail ingredients.

orgeat is almond flavor. you might try looking for torani syrup at places like Cost Plus World Market.Also attached is recipe to make your own. Try also almond syrup. or the following:
If you do not have orgeat syrup, substitute a mixture of 2 tablespoons simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water, heated until sugar is dissolved, then cooled) and 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
