The battle over fear is held in the mind not the body.

Not the brain, the mind.

Love and blessings Don

To detect witches, the holy inquisitors’ recommended method was first to strip the victim and shave him of all body hair and then to search for the “devil’s mark.” This mark, also known as the “witches tit” and is the supposed third nipple with which these women suckled demons. This tit could turn out to be anything, a mole, a wart or even the clitoris! When a suspicious mark is, invariably, found, it was tested by prickling with a sharp object. If the mark was found to be insensitive to pain, it was taken as proof that the “devil’s mark” has been found. [6]

The mind. To be victorious we should renew our minds and have the mind of Christ:

2 Corinthians 10:4,5 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

1 Corinthians 2:16 For :Who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus

God bless you.

Simple...... THE.... " MIND ! "

Did you NOT Read this.....?

(2Corinthians 10:3-to-6) For though walking about in flesh, we do not war according to flesh.

(2Co 10:4) For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds,

(2Co 10:5) pulling down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ;

(2Co 10:6) and having readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

AND..... This is what he uses....!

(1John 2:15-16-17) Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

(1Jo 2:16) For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

(1Jo 2:17) And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God [ the Word of God ] abideth for ever.

Thanks for Asking ! RR

Your mind is the battle field of the devil. If you read in Genesis all of chapter 3, you will see satan attack Eve mind he change her mind from what God had commanded them not to do into doing by changing one word in verse 4, and when you read verse 6 satan was victorious in changing her mind which lead her to sin. Satan deals with thoughts that is his greatest weapon against the children of God.

According to God's Holy Word, the battle field zone is located between your legs... The Jewish ladies of Old Israel had no fear and knew how to dare the Devil!

Ezekiel 23:20 (NIV) There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses.

The mind?

He has a tough battle since I have so many minds. Cannon fodder... hahahaha

He'll get bored before he gets to the right mind which is near the left.

He influences us before our eyes or ears, then our minds take over.

Here is some information on this subject for you:

Battlefield trauma is just one cause of PTSD. According to The Harvard Mental Health Letter, the disorder can result from any “event or series of events that involves actual or threatened death or serious injury or a threat to physical integrity. It might be a natural disaster, accident, or human action: flood, fire, earthquake, car crash, bombing, shooting, torture, kidnapping, assault, rape, or child abuse.” Simply witnessing a traumatic event or learning about it—perhaps through striking testimony or photographs—may induce symptoms of PTSD, especially if the people involved are family members or close friends.

Of course, people respond to trauma differently. “Most people who undergo a traumatic experience do not develop serious psychiatric symptoms, and even when there are symptoms, they do not necessarily take the form of PTSD,” explains The Harvard Mental Health Letter. What about those whose stress does lead to PTSD? In time, some are able to handle the feelings associated with the trauma and gain relief. Others continue to wrestle with memories of a traumatic event many years after it occurred.

Either way, those who suffer from PTSD—and those who want to help them—should remember that recovery requires patience. The Bible exhorts Christians to “speak consolingly to the depressed souls” and to “be long-suffering toward all.” (1 Thessalonians 5:14)
------------------------

Since Satan knows his “short period of time” is about up, he is trying harder than ever before to keep persons from serving God. He wants to take as many persons as he can down into destruction with him. With good reason the Bible describes him as a roaring lion that is looking for someone to eat. (1 Peter 5:8, 9) If we do not want to be caught by him, we need to learn how he attacks and also the ways in which he misleads people. (2 Corinthians 2:11)
-----------------------

HOW SATAN MISLEADS PEOPLE
-------------------------------
Do not think that Satan’s methods of getting people to follow him are always easy to see. He is a master at fooling people. His methods over the thousands of years have, in fact, been so clever that today many people do not even believe that he exists. To them wickedness and evil are simply normal conditions that will always be. Satan operates much like modern-day crime leaders who put on the front of being respectable, but who, behind the scenes, do very wicked things. The Bible explains: “Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light.” (2 Corinthians 11:14) Thus we can expect that his schemes for misleading people would often appear innocent, even beneficial.

Your question includes a false dichotomy. With a little effort, you can replace religious faith with knowledge and understanding. In fact I find the knowledge and understanding help deal with fear much better than faith.

Of our tripartite being sister.. made up of the spirit soul and body ..its the mind..the leading part of our soul that is targetted the most by satan. He throws his firey darts to our mind to polute us, to corrupt us, to bring us into all kinds of death.
Even before Eve physically ate of the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, and before her body became the " flesh" she was polluted by satan's evil thoughts that he injected into her mind. Her mind became fallen and corrupted. He made her question God's intention and instructions even before the partook of the fruit of that tree.

Its the same with us today. He has not changed his techniques or strategies. Our bodies will always do what our mind says to do. This is the reason why it is so crucial that we do two things in our christian life day by day.

Be transformed by the renewing of our mind. Nothing gets old in us as fast as our mind. We could have read the word before sleeping and during the night we dreamed, we thought of things... even the enemy will target us in this vulnerable condition and attack our minds as we sleep. We may not have sinned but come morning time, we need to once again get into the washing water in the Word to have our minds renewed once again. Its no wonder the Lord charges us to Let His word dwell in us richly. That we will always have a storage supply to draw upon during the day when our minds are being attacked.

Another thing is that we need to put on the Helmet of Salvation. The helmet and the Sword go together. Because our mind is always being thrown firey darts of satan, we need to have the helmet... the protection of the Word renewing and having a way to ward off satan's attack. We put on the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit by means of ALL prayer. So not only do we need to read the word.. we need to pray the word. Letting this word become in us such a sword to deal a death blow to satan's attacks.
Our Lord Jesus was a prime example. He Knew the Word..the Logos.. but from His mouth it became the Rhema..the instant, living word to ward off all the lies and deception of satan against Him. He spoke " it is written"

In closing sister.. and sorry for being so long:)...There is a verse in Romans 8:6
" for the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the spirit is Life and Peace"

Daily we have a choice. We can choose death or life and peace. By setting our mind on the spirit our mind IS life and peace..it not only receives Life and Peace but IS it.
This is truly the " Mind of the Spirit' .. " the mind of CHrist"...
The transformation of our whole tripartite being hinges on our mind and its renewal and transformation each day.

" Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs.. singing with Grace in your hearts to God"

Praise the Lord for making such a practical way for us sister.. we can sing, enjoy the Lord in spirit, have His word dwelling richly in us, these are ways that shield our mind.. praying in the spirit, reading the word, memorizing the word, speaking the word...wow.. the list is endless...

Great Q sister:)
Thank You for posting
