Man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
So that being said how come God isn't speaking to us audibly ?

God is not speaking to YOU because God only speaks to the priests and rabbis and they can charge you for telling you what God is saying.... and people laugh at how dumb the Greeks were to believe in the Oracle at Delphi... he,he,he...
The reason God isn't speaking is... THERE IS NO GOD... it's an archaic concept that was developed to explain imaginary things to the gullible peasants tending their flocks.

Your last sentence is wrong. Gods word is the Bible. If you want to know God your going to have to put in some effort.

The bible is known as the word of God. Jesus referred to scripture many many times as truth.
In the Greek, scripture is called, "God breathed"=inspired by God.
Jesus told his disciple that when the holy spirit came on them they would remember all things.....

Simply because there is no god and yet they wanted people to be debating the bible's interpretations for generations so they contradicted themselves as many times as possible.
