The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. - Deuteronomy 29:29.

It certainly is thought provoking, but they are not revealed, therefore we may not know them at this time. Still God invites us to deeper investigation of His Word: "It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter." Proverbs 25:2

God has revealed that 1/3 of all visible stars REALLY ARE small enough that they WILL fit on the surface of the Earth (REV 12:4- KJV). Science has revealed that stars are nuclear furnaces, each larger than this entire planet. Christians have informed me that the words on the page in THAT part of the Bible do NOT mean exactly what they say. So, why not just pick and choose whatever passages you want to mean what the words on the page say, and declare that all the OTHER passages are just misunderstood allegories and metaphors? For example, Deuteronomy 29:29 really means that the things which are revealed by the Creator of the natural world,to scientists who seriously study the natural world, are to be believed, but we are ALLOWED to doubt everything else, the same way Thomas was ALLOWED, without being damned unto Hell, the existence of the Risen Christ. Please note that YOUR Bible reports that Jesus did not inspire the other disciples to rant and rave at Thomas, to threaten Thomas with Hell, to call Thomas obstinate or stupid. Jesus took care of it Himself, in a matter of minutes, with no floods, earthquakes, or any of that crap that we are told are "signs from God" to punish the non-believers.

It means there are things God wants us to know and others that he feels are not important for us to know. But what we do know, we are to follow it and take that information and use it in an upright Godly manner; to follow the law, not disobey it or possibly end up as verses 22 thru 28 tell us. (Deuteronomy 29: 22 - 28)

Remember this: After Armageddon, many new scrolls (meaning, much new information) will be revealed and many of our questions answered; the ones God feels appropriate for us to know.

Presently, we think with only a small portion of our brains, but after Armageddon, those that make it into the "new system", those that love God and his standards, will be able to think with 100% full brain power. This could explain why "it hurts" to think sometimes because we know something is there, but just "cannot put our fingers on it".

If any of us knew what they were, they would no longer be secret things. But, I believe these secret things are the answers to question that have long burned in the minds of man. Questions like, how did life begin, where did God come from if all is created, why are we here, what is the purpose of life, etc........Things that science cannot prove and only God knows.

It's all that we really need to know to serve Jehovah God faithfully, and that we need in order to sustain us in our hope and conviction, this, God reveals to us. God provides us with needed information. Even though we don't know certain details, we can and should have solid faith in the unchangeableness of God’s purpose.

It's referring to sins. Those known to the sinner must be repented for. Those that a sinner is never made or becomes aware of are for God to deal with.

This is readily determined by reading the verse in context of the chapter in which it is written, which speaks of sins and punishments for those sins.
