im trying to say

i was born on the 16th of september which makes me a virgo..

'Which' means ' Lequel' most of the time. But in your case for your example, it means 'ce qui'.

"Je suis nee le 16 Septembre, ce qui me fait une Vierge" This exactly how you need to say it.

It depends very much on the context. You can use:

quel
lequel
que
qui
celui que
celui qui
quoi (after preposition)
ce qui

That'll teach you to ask a question without giving an example of what you wish to say!

qui (subject position) or que (object position)

e.g.

la maison qui est rouge = the house which is red
