Religion is not worshipping God, but rather religion is a way to live a divine life.

If monkeys want divine life, they will start the religion.

But God gave only human being the power to realize his self, the divine nature of himself. When a monkey dies, it evolves to next higher animal in next birth and at last reaches the stage of man.

So man is the highest animal, who has power to realize his self, not monkey. So monkey willnot overpower man, even if it does so, it cannot realize its self.

If monkeys over power the world , hey should be more intelligent than the humans .So they would also have their own version of religion and God .religion is a good mechanism to he a Strong hold on the minds of people .you need no religions to pry and worship God .You need religions only to make your self comfortable at the cost of the innocent people and and kill your competitor in the business of religions .

If they overpower the world, it would be because they defeated humans. Who, then, would they worship?

Whenever someone asks a "counter-factual conditional," as my philosophy professor would say, I am tempted to give an outrageous answer to make the point that a counter-factual "if" statement allows for any answer at all in the "then" response. If pigs had wings, how many of them would crash every year? Pick a number, any number; it is as valid as any other number.

The day when monkeys reach that stage through evolution, they will get the mind stuff too to invent religions philosophies also.

Why not? It can't be to any extent further inane or illogical than christianity or a pair of alternative crank / extremist religions and faiths available already. The bible and different such tomes / archives have stable messages, yet all too in many cases mangled up with threats. rather, study an properly translated replica of the Koran in case you want an uncomplicated faith to imitate. somebody mentioned you will want some thing like the bible. straightforward. you in straightforward terms replica the Bible, with gratuitous gildings and mind-blowing phantasy's, and changing "God", "our lord" "The Lord", and so on, with "Lord Penguin", "large Penguin" and so on. eg: "Lord Penguin parted the Arctic seas, and enable each and all the walruses visit Baffin Island to flee the enraged hunters, ...", and so on. Lol, heck, i will connect in straightforward terms for the tax concessions. i might choose the Adele penguin as "Lord" and with the Emperor type in cost of their sovereign defense force.

How do humans know for certain that the animals do not have God/s of their own ?
God is the projection of the highest qualities that humans aspire for - all powerful, all knowing, all wise, omni-potent, omni-present etc.,etc.,
What would stop animals to have similar projections of their qualities ?
Unless you are absolutely sure that animals can not think for nuts or you believe in what can never be proved or disproved that animals have no souls.
