Everyday my stomach hurts, it feels like i have to vomit, sometimes i do (sorry so nasty) I don't know if its heartburn, it doesn't feel like anything is burning, nor does it feel like its in my chest, its my stomach, it doesn't sound like heartburn, but when I take zantac, (the perscription), or pepcid complete, it helps, so I guess my question is, could it still be heartburn even though it doesn't sound like it...? I can't go to the doctor because I don't have insurance, I get the zantac Rx from my dad.

Most stomach problems are caused by your stomach creating too much acid. It has to create some acid to digest food properly, but too much will irritate or even erode the lining (ulcers).

Take the Zantac daily for 2-4 weeks. It greatly reduces the amount of acid your stomach produces. By that time your stomach should be well healed and you can stop.

If it continues to bother you after you stop, go to a clinic. There are new drugs that are more effective than Zantac.

It sounds like the acid is out of balance in your stomach.
We need good and bad acid to be in balance.

You should not be taking a prescription that does not belong to you.

Try a little lemon juice, 2 or 3 tablespoons in a glass of water.
This works for me to settle my stomach.

Read the side effects for your medication. Many medications can cause stomach problems.

this could be serious hun. DO NOT TAKE RX MEDS THAT ARE NOT YOURS. pregnancy is a possibility, but so are many gastrointestinal conditions. either way, you need to see a dr, insurance or not. most cities have low-cost health clinics, and it's worth spending a little money to find out what's wrong. if you're pregnant, you could be hurting your baby by messing with meds. please be responsible and get checked out!
