Snow or no snow, I'll just pray for a "shooter". Last 2 years, all I have seen is 6's & 4'S. I hunt in Washington Co and that WMA is 4 to a side. Makes it rough. I'd be lying if I didn't say I'd hope to see a monster, but after the last few seasons, a typical 8 point will do just fine.

I am pretty excited. I made some homemade deer feeders and put them on the trails to feed the deer during the summer and they are hitting them like crazy. Yes, the weather will be the biggest factor, the last 2 years it has been in the 50's which is a little warm for gun season if you ask me. Hopefully it will get down to the 30's or at least the low 40's. The biggest problem we have now (at least a problem for my family and I who have a cabin in PA but are non-resident hunters) is that all the PA Game Commissioners have their heads up their you know what...thanks Rendell...

I missed last year because I was gone with the military. Can't wait for this year. Wooooooo hoooooooooo.

can't wait for opening day, seen a few deer this year more than last year but where are all the deer extensive scouting in area 2G has benn less than fruitful, 2B is showing promise.
