when you lose weight....it's overall, u can't target approach it. i learned this from losing 90 lbs....
The way not to do it is starve yourself, to start with. Just exercise and eat right. I did....lost 90 LBS because of it. Starving yourself won't help at all. Drink more water, eat less before bed, and don't eat for stress are the 3 things I follow and i'm going pretty well if i don't say myself. 90 LBS isn't anything like 5-10lbs so take my advice. No, it is not possible. The ONLY way to lose weight naturally is to burn more calories than you consume. The best way to do this is cardio exercise. The only problem is that your body doesn't care where you need to lose the weight. Most of it is genetics and most people will lose weight where the fat is the thinnest first. I lose weight in my face and arms first but my face and arms look fine. Situps and crunches don't do hardly anything for losing weight. Those are good for building stomach muscle. And muscle under fat just makes it look like more fat. Don't believe the infomercials. They all lie.
