i need this software so i can put music on my ipod nano
and an i pod is boring without music

OSX 10.4.8 is well over a gigabyte. You need the system disk that came with your Mac.
10.5 will be out on Friday. Buy that instead.

All Apple Softwares you will have to purchase.
10.0, 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 10.4 all of these different softwares you will have to purchase. The updates to the software on your machine are free. Example you Pay for and Download 10.4 Tiger all the updates of 10.4 are as follows and are available from Apple free buy going up to your Blue Apple and clicking it and then choose Software Updates.
10.4.1, 10.4.2 10.4.3 and so on are updates and are free.
