id think he would have enough already if he is in the church, thats why my property taxes are so high because of all the free land churches get. they should not get gifts but BILLED and give money back to the community not take it!!! when i see a plate passed around and people giving their last $5 to the church rather than eat it sickens me the church would take their money.
they are rich enough and do not need anymore handouts or little boys to play with.
Now a gift for just a man and human that is different and you can get someone anything you think might make them happy you thought of them. don't buy him something because he is a priest buy it because you like him as a friend or human being.
Then you will find your options open a lot more. i am sure it will be received more warmly also.
(Typical CHRISTIANHYPOCRATES give an honest answer and you get thumbed down by ZEALOUT WHO ARE NOT CHRISTIAN EVEN you hide behind Christianity and think you are saved but as a real Christian they will even tell you that you are the worst off of all they who hides behind their faith they find dispicable and I agree with them!! YOU HYPOCRATES. Too you honest Christians, this in not intented towards any of you for i know that you do not judge and turn the other cheek as your faith preaches, these are zealouts that use your faiths name as a weapon and makes a bad name out of it, i am fortunately smart enought know that these are not real Chritstians!)

Considering the vast majority of priests have made a vow of poverty, it would have to be something that doesn't have a large monetary value. On the other hand, priests need things to say mass that are outrageously expensive, like vestments, these are usually provided by the parish but if you want to help out I'm sure it would be appreciated.

Whenever you mention "priest" in here you need to be ready for the ever so tired "choir boy" and "altar boy" references. When will people GROW UP?
Anyway, I think priests really enjoy just being treated like any other person. You can give them a gift card, bottle of wine, home baked sweets, etc. They more than likely have enough religious items but if you know something they are particularly interested in a book or item relating to that would also be a good gift.
