My physio told me to day that my legs are very hyperextended!
Can someone please give me a detailed explanation of what this it and what it does! Is it a good thing or a bad thing? Was i just born that way or what? Im very confused!

Hyper extension means your legs or joints go 'beyond' the normal ability. Yes you could be born this way, or depending on your age, under 25 chances are you are just more supple than the rest of us. The downside, you must try NOT to over extend your joints as this can lead to Arthritis later in life, unless you are so 'bendy' you can get employment in the local Circus. Most people have a full range of joint movement say 100%, you have over 100% so when you extend the joints, you might damage them. As for good or bad, depends on what symptoms you have, is you want to make this a career option, or live until 65 without Arthritis, let alone knee replacements.
