whats that pain that hurts in your tongue?

its on the side. i can bite it with the side of my teeth and it hurts even if i dont bite it. but does anyone know what this is?

I had this a couple of weeks ago. The side of my tongue and back to where it attaches and down the side of my neck.
It hurt like heck.

I use Hydrogen peroxide as a mouth wash daily and that helped, after a few days it stopped and I had a fever blister in my lip. So I think I had a mild infection.

Use the Hydrogen Peroxide or an Antibacterial Mouthwash to help with any bacteria causing a problem.
