Our purpose in life is to glorify God. So, I am in college learning Japanese. This is something I like to do, and is not sinful. There are many more criteria for knowing God's will for your life, but those are the basics. Do something you have been given a heart for. I love Japanese. There's nothing sinful about going to college, and there's nothing in the Bible contradictory to going to college. There's a few more things to think about.

A very small part of it is defending Him here. When people ask me what my religion is I reply God. They say, dont be daft, God is not a religion. To me He is. I discovered God before I even knew what Christ stood for. I see no reason to change.
If you use the line well, its one and the same thing, I would disgree. The Godhead is greater than any individual part.

God's purpose for us is always the same. It is to for us to seek Him, to allow Him to reveal Himself to us and then to proclaim His character to the world. That is what glorifying God means. "The man's chief aim is to glorify God and to enjoy (find our joy) in Him forever".
All other activities in our life spring from glorifying God. Don't start with the activities; just keep glorifying God.
We find God when we try to obey His command to love our neighbor for where love is, there God is also.
