I am a born-again Christian.
1. If a baby dies, the baby will go to Heaven. However, remember that we are all sinners because of Adam and Eve. God will still judge the baby as a sinner. However, because the baby could neither reject nor accept Jesus, the baby will go to Heaven because of God's grace.
Baptism does not save anyone. Even a baby who is batpized is judged as a sinner because the baby could not choose or choose not to be baptized. Therefore, the baptism can't count as a choice for Christ. Plus, baptism was always taught by immersion. Undertstandably, babies should never be fully emerged like that. That only goes to show that God intended baptism for someone who was saved, which can only occur when older. I am very much against infant baptism
2. I'm not really a 'member' of a faith. Rather, I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus said he was the only way to Heaven. Therefore, anyone who has not repented of their sins and put their faith in Jesus will not go to Heaven. Now, many beliefs do not include Heaven. However, that does not mean that God excludes them from the fate of judgment. They will go to Hell if they are not saved.
3. Like I said above, one must repent of their sins and put their faith in Jesus. They simply need to humble their heart and pray to God for forgiveness. We have a sinful heart that needs cleansing. This is the only way to Heaven.
Read the Bible. I believe in Biblical Christianity, not religion, per se.

Baptist/Born Again Christian/Saved
1. Heaven, don't have scripture at the moment. I say that because how can an infant ask for forgiveness, and ask Jesus to be there personal saviour? Not possible is it? So that is why we baptists say that at the age of reasoning is when they can be tried for there sins. But of course only God can tell when that is. But common sense leads up to a certain point also, we can tell what is reasonable and what is not.
2 and 3. Becoming a member of a church does not get you to heaven, for anyone to get to heaven you must first believe in God. Secondly you must realize you are a sinner and than repent of your sins (and mean it). Thirdly you simply ask Jesus to come into your heart and help you grow in Him. But it simply doesn't stop there because you need to learn about what God wants for us. Get into a baptist or non-denominational church that preaches salvation. Faith: generic Christian, Protestant flavored
1) I don't honestly know, although the baptism part doesn't worry me. I do believe in the love of God, so I presume that infants enter His presence. If you were to press me on it, though, I couldn't prove it.
2) Yes.
3) You do understand the difference between "necessary" and "sufficient", right? It's sufficient to submit to Jesus as Savior and Lord. Scripture backs me up on that. Scripture does not discuss "necessary" - and I'm sure to get blasted for that one, but I have looked into this. Again, I fall back on the love of God. I don't think He'll turn away anyone who truly followed the best they knew.
Let the DOWN-THUMBING begin!
Edit: Sorry - missed the "state your faith" bit.
Edit 2: Sorry, hot button topic. If one is "retarted", then one has been given a second chance at a fruit-filled pastry. This is perhaps not what the poster below intended.
Well, in for a penny, in for a pound I often say.

#1 Being baptized doesn't help any one get to heaven , if it did then why did Jesus suffer so much ,shed his innocent blood , and die on the cross for then ? God is the one who knows that answer on little children .#2 No religion can save any body , only the word of God can . #3 Hear the word of God , admit you are a sinner destine to hell , and that you believe Jesus died on the cross for your sins then trust and believe in Jesus as your savior and obey him .

I'm a Catholic but not very orthodox.
1. In my view, the infant will go to heaven if there's a heaven. Or... the infant will reincarnate. Or simply die.
2. If there's a heaven, yes. Otherwise they will reincarnate. Or simply die.
3. If there's a heaven, people just have to do their best. They don't need to be saints, they need to do their best by living a life of love, honesty and fairness.

I am a pastor... online... no church building, as I have "church" right here in my heart!... I also don't wish to associate myself with the so called "Christians' of today, as there are too many who teach false doctrine. I only strive to be Christ like. http://www.geocities.com/amkch1
2 Tim 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
I hope I can help you understand some things....
1. If an infant dies (without being baptized) where will it go for the eternities?
Yes, they will live again!!!
2. Can people who never become a member of your faith go to heaven?
Just because they don't belong to your "faith" doesn't mean God doesn't love them... If they belive on the Lord, Jesus Christ, it doesn't matter what "clique" they belong to.

Mat 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
First of alll NO ONE is GOING to Heaven... Heaven is coming to earth:
Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3. What does someone need to do to go to heaven?
Mat 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Act 16:30-31 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
1 Corinthians 3:11-15 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
Best wishes!

If your "faith" means organized religion, I dont belong to one. My faith comes from God.
1) Heaven...Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
2) Of Course...John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (WHOSOEVER...not only the Baptists or the Muslims...or the....whatever)
3) faith, repentance, and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ

1. I am not sure the Bible speaks directly to the issue of an infant dying without being baptized as directly as it might, but one can trust that God will be rightous and merciful.
2. Of course there are many people who glorify God, leaning on the work of Jesus on the cross believing for eternal life not of my denomination. In the Old testament people were righteous by leaning on God's mercy in faith and it would be hard for me to identify who is and who isn't
3.The mercies of God are the clearest in the New Testament. We glorify God, leaning on the work of Jesus on the cross believing for eternal life. The essentials revolve around Jesus death burial and resurection - for out justification legally and to change us actually as we lean on Him. We are adopted into God's family and he 'rasies' us in righteousness.
