Actually "que sera, sera" is not Spanish, French, Italian or any other known language. It is supposed to mean "what will be will be, but in Spanish that would be something like "Lo que sea, será", in Italian, it would be "Che sarà, sarà", in French it would be "Ce qui sera sera", end so on. It appears to be a made- up phrase, presumibly invented just for Doris Day.

Que = what.......
sera = will be [future tense if 'is' ]...... que sera, sera..
as in "what will be, will be."
