Is it immoral to hate ignorant people?

Question

I hate people who are mind-numbingly dumb. like people who goto a steakhouse and ask if they serve beef.
I know I'm nowhere neer perfect, but I find myself silently hating these idiots of society I meet in my job.....

Is that bad?

Note about my spelling: it's almost 3 am here, give me a break. You try and type in the dark, I bet it won't be 100% perfect.

No,it is not immoral ,it is a sin.God says "Love one another as i love you",that means everybody,no exceptions ,whatever they have done or still doing.If you hate certain people, you hate God,It is that simple.

Unfortunately Satan is still in charge, even though his 100 year lease of extended power over the world has expired.People find it hard to let go of him.

By the very definition, Ignorant people just don't know any better. Most people would find it ok if you say you hated the stupid or intolerant people, but it'd probably be wrong if you say you hated children because they don't know how to fly helicopters.

sounds like someone is ignorant about how rating works or is immorally thumbing everyone

Sure it is immoral to hate them not only that but it is a shame because being a clever person is just a matter of creation and a chance of education ,but there is another side ,what if someone like Newton saw our behavour (we would be like the ignorant people you are talking about) ,add to your information that many of them are creative in another life activites .

To hate a ignorant person is not a great idea if he is not doing any harm to u.U can be frustrated with him but hate is a strong word which wise people use very carefully and i hope ur wise.Ignornace is not a crime.Everybody can be ignorant even i and u.Please try to remove the ignorance of other people and save the world.

I don't know about immoral, but don't you think it's a waste of energy to hate THAT many people? Considering there are a lot of them out there. Just think of Bill Ingval... "Here's your sign". =)

Hate is bad in any form. Because you have little tolerance for the dull and ignorant; what would they think about your judgement of them? None of us are perfect but listen, even the dull and the ignorant have their story. Your lesson is to learn patience and it can take a lifetime; the wars and dreadful treatment of slaves came from treating 'dumb black people' with hate. Patience is kind, hate is blind. Blessed be.

Ignorant people should be ignored.

If they don't step on your toe, just leave them to walk aimlessly :)

I don't bother to hate them, I just either ignore or laugh at them. Getting upset and hating people only makes blood boil and that's not good in the long run.

it's really not right to hate any body,i understand you get a little UN nerved, but hate, that's such a strong word!!!!you know if you look deeper, these people pro bally aren't this dumb as you say, there just acting?i mean, just look at some of our celebrities, our reality shows, some talk show?its kinda a "IN" thing to act dumb, look at, Jerry springer show,WHERE DOES HE GET THOSE PEOPLE?any shows staring a blond,do they all have to be so stupid?so anyways getting up set is pro bally called for, but hating?just look around at our role models lately, mostly stupid?????????
