It is healthy! Depending on the tea you drink, many are full of anti-oxidants to keep you healthy. Some have caffeine if you need that jump start in the morning. Also, you are essentially drinking lightly flavored water so you'll be intaking clear liquid which is always good for the body. The only thing to be careful about is teeth staining. It is really only a risk if you drink regularly and somewhat excessively. It should not be worse than drinking coffee. Oh - and if we are comparing teas and coffees, I should add that there are an infinite number of flavors of teas so it's really fun to mix and try. Teavana.com is a great place with some fun teas. Best thing to do first in the morning, even before you get washed, is to drink a big glass of water.
Your body will be thirsty because it spent the past hours with no water.
This will help cleaning your stomach and the whole circulation. Then you can drink tea or juice or start eating.
Also, it will make every thing you eat or drink tastier, your skin will be much better looking, the smell of your breath will be nice and clean and it will give you the energy to start your day.
Last and not least, believe it or nor, it will help you to loose wight in a very balanced and healthy way.

Tea is good for you and better than coffee. Green Tea also has antioxidants, if it's part of a good breakfast it's perfectly OK to drink it.

Well, you didn't define what kind of tea, so I won't be able to answer this but...
In the morning, I drink a glass of water with two tablespoons of lemon juice in it, it tastes gross, but it speeds up your metabolism. =P

If you have hyperacidity, then don't drink tea, especially in the morning when stomach acidity is higher. Otherwise, it's okay to drink tea.

If it's green tea, yes, as it helps in releasing out toxins and get your systems going. And it doesn't put a toll on your kidneys and that it's caffeine-less.
