They have not committed a mortal sin by not knowing God,so they will not go to Hell. They may go to Purgatory to be spiritually cleansed before entering Heaven. The same goes for a newborn baby who dies except the baby will go straight to Heaven.
EDIT..You have to have an open mind .You have to believe in the possibility of Apparitions of Jesus and Mary ,which unfortunately 99.9% of Christians do not. They say it is some form of trickery by the Catholic Church, because if it is true they only appear to Catholics. You can accept the possibility or reject it .
Sr. Faustina Kowalska was asked by Jesus in 1931 to proclaim to the World a new gift,an amnesty for Mankind,a way to become new Christians, cleansing our souls of all past sins, and obtaining complete remission of all punishment,by appealing to Our Father through the Passion and Merciful Love of Jesus. Your Bible is now redundant, because Jesus has given you a new way to live. But nobody will believe it.

Great question. That is exactly why some extreme religions are totally flawed! Nothing happens to them, there is no heaven and there is no hell. There's only Karma dude.

Impossible.
Even if the entire world's Christians had missed those few people, the Gospel is still preached after death.
But please don't wait until that time comes.
God Bless.

All people are accountable to God whether they have "heard about Him" or not. The Bible tells that God has clearly revealed Himself in nature (Romans 1:20) and in the hearts of people (Ecclesiastes 3:11). the problem is that the human race is sinful; we all reject this knowledge of God and rebel against Him (Romans 1:12-23). Apart from God's grace God would give us over to the sinful desires of our hearts, allowing us to discover how useless and miserable life is apart from Him. This He does for those who reject Him (Romans 1:24-32).
In reality, it is not that some people have not heard about God.* Rather, the problem is that they have rejected what they have heard and what is readily seen in nature. Deuteronomy 4:29 proclaims, "But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul." This verse teaches an important principle: everyone who truly seeks after God will find Him. If a person truly desires to know God, God will make Himself known.
The problem is, "there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God" (Romans 3:11). People reject the knowledge of God that is present in nature and in thier own heart, and instead decide to worship a "god" of their own creation. It is foolish to debate the fairness of God sending someone to hell who never had the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Christ. People are responsible to God for what God has already revealed to them. The Bible says that people reject this knowledge, and therefore God is just in condemning them to hell.
The fact that people reject the knowledge of God revealed in nature must motivate Christians to proclaim the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. Only through accepting the Gospel of god's grace through the Lord Jesus Christ can people be saved from their sins and rescued for an eternity apart from God in hell.
Also, the Bible does not teach that there is a temporary state of the dead where people still have a chance to decide for God. The Scripture says that judgment comes after death. "And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment." (Hebrews 9:27)
The Bible says, "For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8,9) No one can make it into heaven by their own good works. Nor can they earn God's approval by being "good" because their works can never be "good enough" to please a perfect God.
If you want saving faith all you need to do is transfer your complete turst from yourself and what you have been trusting in, and trust Jesus Christ alone, plus or minus nothing, for eternal life.
If you want this then pray to Jesus asking Him to forgive your sins. Repent of your sins, receive God's free gift of eternal life, and acknowledge Jesus is God.
*Many years ago some missionaries told an interesting story about a new group of people in the Philippines. When the missionaries arrived, the leader of the people asked them if they were the ones who were to come and tell them about the one who died on a tree to forgive their sins. What was shocking was that this group of people were newly discovered. The tribal leader explained in the months that followed that God had told them He was sending some people to tell them about Himself. This, by the way, is not an isolated example of God revealing Himself to a people and telling them that there would be someone coming to explain Him to them.

No way.
God judges them on how rightfully they lived their life; you don't have to be Christian to go to heaven.
On the flipside, you can be 'Christian' and still go to hell.
