Yes, many do. I know of 3 divorces in the last couple years which ended because of financial issues.
When either spouse decides to "get some" outside the marriage, that's a real relationship killer too.
Communication is certainly the best way to reconcile these difficulties, but it's sadly lacking in so many marriages.

I think that they end mostly because the people involved really don't know each other when they marry. Also because a lot of people are basicly selfish. They are concerned with thier own wants and desires and not those of anyone else. People also confuse lust and love. Couples need to respect each other before they can really love each other. A lot of people marry because they need to be with someone and often settle for less. I have been guilty of that one in the past

No, I think marriages end because two people get married at age 19 or 20 and then act surprised when they turn into different people at age 30, 40, etc. I'm certainly not the same person I was in college.

i think there are a lot of reasons, and you've only named two of them. the other big ones i've noticed is that people seem to think that once they get married, they'll be happy no matter what, and they'll never have any problems again. there's that, and there's just a complete lack of comittment in people these days as compared to in the past. there are a million reasons, and none of them really seem good enough when it comes right down to it. for me though, when i get married, i'm staying that way. i don't care if it kills me. i'll die before i give up. nobody's getting MY money! LOL

No. I think many couples don't know how to effectively communicate. As a result grudges are held and hostility flourishes.
