are they trying to play the role of a "prophet of doom"? aren't they aware that they're adding to noise pollution?

blondie the Bible thumper, you're not a Christian. you just think you are. I've met many authentic Christians and they are very respectful of other people and never say bad things about other people's beliefs and religion. no Bible-fundie is a Christian.

They do not belong to any sect.

They are probably over-active Christians going around, spreading the message. But I don't think that they are doing it the right way though...

Well,I apologize for their sakes and I hope you might forgive them for their misunderstanding.Christians spread the Word by gentle words not screams of doom...

God Bless.

Unfortunately, some people go about spreading God's Word in the wrong way. Screaming at people isn't showing Christ-Like behavior or the love of God.

Wait, let me think............Christians? For your information, we don't scream on the streets. We are doing the Great Commission and telling folks how to get saved. Maybe your church only cares about the people in your congregation, but Jesus said if you love me, keep my commandments and spread the gospel throughout the world.

Tango: Why are you so mean spirited? I know I'm a Christian and if you are saved, then I will see you in Heaven. That should be interesting, huh?

turb: I was talking about birth control in that post. Some guy in Italy has no right to tell a married couple what to do in their bedroom, that is why he is deluded. I think you and Tango make a lovely couple.

Groucho: Amen Brother.

Evangelism oldest form of getting the word out. Men and Women of all Faiths do the same thing. Try to get the Word to the masses and multitudes of people who don't care enough to find out on their own. And in their eyes, I can only imagine, that if one just one person out of what ever city you live in changed their ways and became devout believers in what ever faith they choose. Then those people "who scream on the streets" have a victory. As annoying as it might be to you, they are compelled to get out the word as best they know how.
And the Phophets of doom that you speak of will be put on the Earth by Gods hand, not men born here, and the whole world will see those 2 chosen ones "Screaming on the Streets"!!
And apparently your upset by the fact that you can hear it and disapprove of it. Thats too bad my friend.
Might wanna listen <><
:) Peace

People on the streets saying "go to hell"? Sounds like pedestrians and cab drivers during rush hour in Manhattan, if you ask me.

other people call them religion bashers, tango. and the one you just addressed is also one of the religion bashers. she called the Pope deluded in one of her answers (talk about loving our neighbor). she failed to realize that she is the one who's deluded.

as I've said before, the common mistakes of people is to take Bible-fundies' words seriously.

take comfort with the fact that they are nothing but drums that are noisy and hollow inside, and their words hold no importance.

We call the one in my hometown "Ernie". I don't know what his particular sects are, and if I asked him he'd probably misunderstand the question.

They belong to their own type of sect. What that is I have no idea.

I am not sure if they are a sect and it depends what they are saying. Maybe they are doing a great work and trying to let others know about Salvation
