My mom named me "Dullard". I don't think it fits.

Yes, in a good way, if a name is rare, beautiful or causes attraction. Yes, in a bad way, if a name is very strange or sounds odd or even stupid (unfortunately some parents do not really think well before giving a child a name). No, if a name is a common one and is nothing but a simple reference to a specific person. Anyway a name we were given may influence our personality only through social interaction but not per se.

Maybe, I was named for my mother's father and my mother tells me the older I get, the more I remind her of him.
