Pick and choose, pick and choose...........today I think I will follow the bit the says I don't have to Tithe anymore, don't like that bit that says I should give away all my worldly possessions.Tomorrow I think I'll ignore the bit where it says women should cover their heads in church and obey their husbands.

The Old testament prophesied about Jesus and His coming in the New Testament. Both go together and are relevant for today. With the death and Resurrection of Jesus He won the victory over sin and death and was the perfect sacrifice that fulfilled the requirement for atonement from sin. For Jesus was without sin and without blemish. The reason the high priests sacrificed animals was for atonement of the peoples sin and the high priests had to continually sacrifice as the animals were not the perfect sacrifice. The animals couldn't do what Jesus did.

There is nothing dating to the time that Jesus supposedly lived (including very complete Roman records of Palestine) that even mentions the existence of Jesus.
Josephus was not of that time. The gospels were written only over a hundred years after (confusing, since written language was available in the early 1st century). And unlike other messengers from "God", Jesus did not write a testament himself.
So, it's probably a good idea to dismiss the entire book as crap. Morality is inherent to the human species, as is evidenced.

The quotes about it being unnatural for men to have sex with men are in the New Testament too. Romans 1: 25-26 . Romans 7:6 also says that we are no longer bound by the "old laws".
You know, I don't understand why people get such violent attitudes toward Christians. SURE...people twist the Bible and use God's Word for their own purpose. Most of them become judgmental people, or even radicals and are not pleasing to God in any way! They still proclaim to be Christians, but don't represent Christ at all. The Bible is the first place you will learn that we HAD TO BE SAVED BECAUSE WE ARE SINNERS! People who are real Christians will admit this...and not be rude or unkind to someone else who has different beliefs or lifestyles. Maybe Atheists should learn the same lesson.

The sacrificing of the first born male lamb was used in similitude for the sacrifice that the Savior would make for all. Remember, Jesus said that he came not to destroy the Law, but to fulfill it. Jesus died a sinless death, that is when he conquered temptation. When he rose from the grave after three days, he conquered death and that gave all of that gift also. Jesus also quoted from the prophets of old many times through ministry and adhered to its edicts.
Also, the Bible is not one book, but a collection of books and letters written by those that talked to God face to face and stories of bravery, as with Esther.

Jesus came to teach mankind the Will of His father so that Whosoever follows it can save himself.
But mankind rejected Him and became tools for His destruction then after they spread the news that He was sent to save mankind by dying on the cross. What blasphemy is contained in this and what harm has already been done to many faithfuls.
The crucifiction of Christ is a crime committed against the Son of God Jesus and this is evident in His prayer that God should forgive those who at that time committed the crime against Him: Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing.
Unfortunately, today a lot of people still beleive in the delusion that Christs sacrificial death on the cross absolves them of all sins once they confess their belief in Him without first changing themselves by following the teachings of Christ which is the only means of salvation.
Those who are homosexuals or lesbians are distorted souls who are neighter real men or women.
As you can see that you find men with predominantly female characteristics and women with male chacteristics. These are souls who have distorted themselves and as such now incarnate in bodies which are different from their original characteristics when they first left their spiritual origin for the purpose of developing here in gross matter

Jesus didn't "...atone all the sinful ways of man..."
Perhaps you might re-phrase your question!
He made atonement for man, so man could be at one with God- Himself. God cannot sin; and can't be at one with sin!
Above all else, He is Holy!
These aren't mutually exlusive issues, however;
Your question doesn't take in the clause of "REPENTANT-SINNER!"
Christ's self-sacrifice/blood-shed, for the sins of mankind, is sufficient for atonement, "...once and for all..." "Paid in Full!"
If a homosexual repents (turns-away) from that particular life-style, acknowledging Yeshua (Jesus) as the only Redeemer; He/She can be saved.
To further participate in homosexuality perpetuates the sin.
Christ didn't die so that we could live in sin. Life-styles in sin continually blemishes we sinners. Why else would we need to confess to one another when we sin? Sinning is fault. Continuous sin is continuous fault. A continuous fault, such as a homosexual life-style exemplifies, to the world, that nothing has changed in such an individual! Therein lies NO repentance. Why should then, other's change?
Scripture says that "... even devils believe, and tremble..."
There is much more than just believing, to consider. God is the same, yesterday, today, and tomorrow! Look-it-up! Read the complete book.
"Work hard so God can approve you. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth. Avoid godless, foolish discussions that lead to more and more ungodliness. This kind of talk spreads like cancer...preaching the lie... they have undermined the faith of some...God's truth stands firm like a foundation stone with this inscription: 'The Lord knows who are his and those who claim they belong to the Lord must turn away from all wickedness'... " (2nd Timothy, 15-19)
It sounds as though you might be making excuses?

Jesus became the sacrifice for our sins, the blood covenant. That didn't change the rules. We are still to live in the world, we are still to try not to sin and live Godly lives. Jesus died to reconcile us with God because we sin not to justify sin. The bible is not a buffet, you don't get to pick and choose.

Because there are a lot of preachers who want them to know how to make Pharisees out of themselves. I think that there are a lot of Preachers who think that they are 'moral' people who don't know the Gospel from the crap they say to homosexuals.
( ggrrrrr!)
If preachers spent more time with substantive things, like preaching the Gospel and finding Christ in the Old Testament, they would be better off. Until then, I have to do the pastor's job for them. I like knowing the answers, but I hate those stinking pastors who teach their congregations satanic messages like what they are doing.
Where is an honest pastor these days who know that God wants worshipers who worship in spirit and truth?
They even have musicians preaching as they put the congregations to sleep with their boring assed music!

Since when do Christians encourage and condone the gay lifestyle?
You're comparing apples to oranges, and trying to make a correlation where none applies.
If you want to sacrifice a goat to reconcile your wrongdoings, go right ahead. We won't stop you, we'll just laugh at you behind your back.
God bless

The homosexual reference is repeated in the New Testament. romans 1:26-27 teaches specifically that homosexuality is a result of denying and disobeying God. 1 Corinthians 6:9 proclaims that homosexual “offenders” will not inherit the kingdom of God.
