I just read this somewhere yesterday. The answer is to use a mouth-rinse but I don't think there was details of which one. Cheap enough to try though.
Good luck, let us know if it is any use!!!

Cure For Dandruff

Vinegar is poured into the hair, massaged into the scalp, and left to dry for a few minutes. Then the hair is washed.
The process is repeated daily until the dandruff disappears, usually within a few days. Good luck, best wishes.

A herbal rinse is a safe method of removing dandruff. Apply lemon juice with the rind on the scalp .After 5 minutes wash off with shampoo and water. More simple remedies for dandruff at http://usefulinfo-dandruff.blogspot.com/

Try to get Schwarzkopf shampoo and scalp tonic. Tried it once and the problem ceased. However, it'll depend on the severity of dandruff. Usually it's topical but if the problem persist, have it checked by a trichologist or dermatologist. Try to massage your scalp with olive oil before washing and relax as stress is a number one cause of dandruff. Drink plenty of water to balance your pH.

Tegrin or another anti-dandruff shampoo (comes in a Blue plastic bottle). I think they both have a "pine tar" base.

how long have you been using the head and shoulders for?? because speaking from my own experience, head and shoulders actually works but it can take a week or longer for it to work...otherwise ask your GP for something stronger.
