I am new to wine and am looking into buying some, but am unsure of which one to get. The last time i tasted wine it was kinda gross. I am sure there is a wine out there that suits me best. Im used to drinking orange juice and vodka. Can someone help me choose a wine that would suit my taste buds because this is all new to me.

Not knowing where you live, I do not know what is available where you live. Trader Joe’s markets a special range of wine. If you are looking for great deals, then try some of these where house department stores.

If you like to learn about wines, look for a store that specializes in wines. In my area they have tasting bar, but this is only available in some states. A good store will be run by knowledgeable people and sell you wine around you price range. You will pay a few dollars more, but getting the extra help is worth it. Their business depends on you returning.

If you are looking to get your feet wet in wine, just pick up one of each of the trader joe $4 bottles. They aren't that bad, especially for the $. They have characteristic flavor profiles of each different variety. There is nothing wrong with them-more like there is nothing fabulous about them. If you find a style that you like, experiment with other brands/price points. You can at least narrow it down to whether you like a certain style and go from there.

Try the Chauteau Neuf-du-Pape Bordeaux if you can find it. Around $15, quite decent.
