Bush does not want to "destroy and kill the human race". The link between global warming and human activity is still an area that is being argued. There are those at one extreme that believe everyone should stop driving cars, grow their own food, not use electricity, etc to make the world truly green. They have no concern for the economy or comfort of society only about being green. The other extreme is that the economy should be protected at all costs and if people really wanted green they would purchase items that were green. A true free market system. This approach is that as long as people don't want to change why hurt the economy by making them change.

This is a relevant quetion, though it should be rephrased to include (r) in the discussion and not alienate. The answer is: Because he does not see it that way. Global Warming is most likely happening, and because of human influence. But it is still not truly a political question in the US. There are several reasons for that - I, as a pure observer, think that the bi-partisan system has created a society where corporations are in fact making presidents through funding of candidates. If as long as companies that sell oil and automobiles are bigger and stronger than those selleing eco alternatives you will get the president you deserve. Now, if the american public would actually make an effort to themselves improve the situation - and there are lots of way of doing that - the presidential election might be determined by funding from solar cell companies etc - what kind of decisions will be made then?
So if you are a believer: Clean your own mess (no car, green local food etc), convince other to do the same and make a difference....

What? Now tell me this whole global warming BS is not a political argument. There is no such thing as man made global warming, it's a knee jerk reaction to get the ignorant followers to vote a specific way.

Your basis for asking that question goes beyond anything which a credible source would regard as plausible or anything that you could have concluded using reason.
Your premise for asking that question is not rational.
