I dunno - but you really should do something about your avatar - it's ugly! Maybe a new background would help...

The Demon Haunted world is excellent and I highly recommend it. It is probably my favorite and I have read almost all his books. It is a simple way to learn to look at the world more objectively and use critical thinking skills. He has a wonderful way of making material accessible and using lucid examples that made it an enjoyable experience. "Pale Blue Dot", "Cosmos", "Contact", and "Broca's Brain are some others I really enjoyed. I recently finished "Varieties of Scientific Experience: A Personal View of the Search for God" and while I enjoyed I wouldn't recommend it as a starting place. It was published after his death just recently so it is put together from some unpublished writings and lectures he gave. It doesn't have the richness of his voice the other books do and the lecture format including question and answer sessions doesn't flow like a novel does.

I like Pale Blue Dot: A Vision of the Human Future in Space & Broca's Brain: Reflections on the Romance of Science. Mostly because it has short essays that are easy to absorb.

The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark is in the class of A Brief History of Time by Richard Hawking. It explains science (physics and cosmology) to the layman. Sagan focusses on debunking and that is always fun to see stupid ideas oblitorated. The balony detection kit helps you to use reason as opposed to emotion when thinking.
