i think you underestimate bronze age goat herders. Sure they would kill to protect their families, livestock and property.

however, would they kill for difference of believe, would they they force belief, would they sit by and do nothing as their world decayed believing it was the great plan of some unseen almighty being. Probably not.

Well, very interesting question. I will say your not dumb by any means. Curious I guess. I was raised around church all my life. Many minister's in the family. If you let yourself believe in God....(and I have to ad here.....most people know he is real but alot won't admit it), his love gave the human race what is called Free Will. The right to decide between right and wrong. We must be taught from a very young age what is right and wrong. Our parents usually do this if they are decent and responsible adults. But that seems to be the problem here. Not enough adults are willing to be just that..ADULTS. It's a real pity and a shame because those who can't handle this should be looked upon as cowards. Spineless, gutless and possibly confused. We can choose the free will to believe in God or not. If we do...then we can come to know the peace and love of Christ in it's purest form. If we don't then when our life ends.....we will choose a different path which may not be to our liking. Anyway you look at it....it doesn't hurt to believe and gain heaven but it's terrible pain and suffering to have your life end and go the other way. I think you wonder how God can be forgiving of the wrongs. That's why he is so great. That's why none of us can ever be close to being like him. Does any of what I have said make a difference in your life?

The time has come when we Must account for everything we have done up till now , whoever wishes to save himself I introduce the work "In The Light of Truth" The Grail Message by Abdrushin.

"The Grail Message" by Abdrushin is addressed to the individual human being, irrespective of religion, creed, nationality or race. he alone has to bear the responsibilty for everything he thinks and does.

It mediates the knowledge of the development of Creation. In simple words, it explains all connections without a gap and gives a comprehensive survey of the happenings in creation. through the cognizance of the perfect laws of creation which preclude any arbitrary action, the liberating understanding of present world events is opened to man.

Further, it explains what the free will of man really is, what intellect, intuitive perception, soul and spirit signify, and their relation to one another.

This Work also deals clearly and objectively with important questions which move the seeking man: The meaning and purpose of existence, fate, hereditary sin, birth and death, the beyond, incarnation and reincarnation, the sexual problem, marriage, the mystery of lucifer, the Last judgement and the Cosmic Turning Point

Apparently from many of the answers I've read here, the answer to your question is: when heck freezes over and all the little demons go ice-skating. Oh well, better luck next time. Maybe if I post a favorite quote below it would round out this category.

I decide whats right and wrong every day by myself and I am a Christian. I believe Christians know whats right and wrong more than anyone else could. Have you ever read the Bible? If you have I don't think you could possibly say something so...uneducated. You know there is such a name for people who form ideas such as this one about a group of people based on relgion. Do you also judge people by the color of their skin? Sounds like you are the one who doesn't know right from wrong. Sorry.

Does your analogy mean that with all our modern day sophistication, people don't murder other people anymore? Hhmmm. Lets read tomorrows newspaper, watch the news, and find out. I think wrong is wrong no matter the date, be it primitive or modern day.

But where would be the fun in that. There would then be no excuse for persecuting gays, disriminating against women, killing in the prosecution of religious wars or supporting a systems of record wealth inequality. If Christians knew right from wrong they would not be so immoral. But this way they can dress immorality up as virtue.

The fact is, SOME people don't like it because Christians DO know right from wrong.

Other people just don't like hearing the absolute truths about it.

Sounds very similiar to the invitation that the serpent made in the garden of Eden..."you will be like God, deciding good and evil for yourself."

The world has few relatively few Christians in it. The rest of you have not done many intelligent things to stop hate, crime, war, sickness, destruction of the environment.......for thousands of years.
How come you, who know right and wrong, don't stop doing wrong? Do you have a defect?
