Israel has religious freedom so there's no problem wearing a cross, however, if you're are going to areas holy to other religions e.g. The Western Wall or a mosque then it may be considered a little inappropriate, but in most areas people will not object.

No. There are many faiths that cross in Israel. Wearing a cross is not a problem. Showing up at a synagogue trying to convert them to Christians may not go over so well. Simply being polite about things works wonders.

Wearing a cross is fine, as long as it is jewelry. Israel prohibits missionary activity, so a month or so ago a man was arrested for carrying an actual cross through jerusalem. The police considered this prosletyzing, so he was arrested and released and his cross confiscated. If you're just wearing an ornamental cross on a necklace, that isn't a problem.

EDIT: Faith, I assume you mean GDP and not GPA?

It is not a problem, though if it is a very large cross it might be a good idea to tuck it into your shirt when walking around some very religious neighborhoods in Jerusalem.

Sometimes they are way to overprotective bordering on the irrational and they might get the impression that your missioning.

Considering there are many Christians in Israel, I don't see how it would be a dangerous thing to do.

No it is not dangerous. Israel's tourism income is part of her national GPA.
They do not freak out at religious jewelry since they know it is a place that draws on religious visits.

I think many Christians live in Israel, and many Christians tour Israel, I don't think you will have any problem. Cheers!

No, of course not!

Israel is a democracy; everyone is free and welcome to worship as they please and to wear any religious jewellery they wish.

The only thing that is unwelcome, is any attempt at 'saving' non Christians in the Jewish state.

But wearing a cross is no problem whatosever.
