Yes, adultery is considered a sin, but there may be a lot of things about her circumstances that you don't know about.

A lot of things can go wrong in a marriage. Maybe she was physically or emotionally abused by her husband? Maybe she was no longer in love with him? There's a number of reasons that could apply to this woman's situation.

While you might not think that these reasons excuse her behaviour and you may consider her actions "immoral", you, nor anyone else, really has the right to judge her. Is that not God's place?? And does that not depend on whether she asks for forgiveness?

Yes, this is breaking the commandments on many levels. But what can you do? Just forgive and pray for her. Depending on who she or he is to you, you can only move forward. Don't dwell on what has happened, just speak to them on how wrong infidelity is and that she needs to make a choice. No matter how bad it is at home or what her husband is not doing for her at home or what ever the case maybe, no one deserves to be cheated on. But in the same aspect, no one deserves to be judged upon there choices in life either. So again, I say forgive, pray, and be there for them to help them stop their wrong doings. Everyone makes mistakes in life, it just sucks that this is the mistake that they both chose to make.

I don't believe the age differences are specifically stated in the commandments, but then again, don't people make up the rules of religion as they go along.
( according to the time period)

women at her age are sexually driven, maybe her husband isn't satisfying her needs,so she is looking for sex outside the marriage bonds, and picked a young man for this precise reason
