We (my classmates and I) are going to an urban poor area to do some community service for our school assignment. But the area coordinator told us to bring our own lunch because the food there might cause us a tummy ache. I think we will be eating in the bus.

Please recommend what lunch I should bring? preferably something that is easy to make, bring and eat while sitting in the bus and won't spoil for at least 6 hours.

Well if you have to worry about something spoiling due to heat, there's always the tried and true, Peanut butter and
Jelly or honey. Or also peanut butter and sliced bananas.
Then I'd have some chips you like. And a banana (if you don't choose the slices in the sandwich) and a
cool drink of some kind that you maybe could drink warm and
it wouldn't taste too bad. Maybe a fruit juice, or juice drink would be the right way to go on that. And if you think you'd still be hungry, toss into a baggie a couple of cookies for good measure. The peanut butter will give you protein, and lasts
awhile. And the bread, chips, and cookies and even the
banana, will give you the energy carbs you will need. And be sure to take a bottle of water too, to stay hydrated while you work. That's very important these days.
This will get you revived and energized for a full afternoon ahead.

Barbara has the right idea with frozen juice or water to keep the rest of your lunch fresh. Make sure to use a plastic bottle that's not totally full, and leave the lid off until after it's frozen. (Liquid swells up when it freezes, so a glass bottle or sealed plastic one could crack.)
If you can get a juice box instead, they freeze really well when still sealed.

Trail mix gives good energy and won't spoil. Mix together different nuts and pieces of dried fruit and keep in a plastic bag. (Some breakfast cereals are good to add to this, too.)

If you can bring something to wash your hands with before you eat, like a wet wipe or some rubbing alcohol, that would be good also.

Make a sandwich or a wrap-freeze a bottle of water or juice-place together in a bag-drink will thaw by lunchtime while keeping your sandwich cold. Add some chips and a piece of fruit-there ya go.

PB&J on white and potato chips. Definetely wont spoil. Anything with lunch meat will need to be refridgerated or you might at well get your food off one of those carts!
