Man is mortal only in the sense that he is subject to physical death.
Man is an eternal spirit being and as such the way he treats his fellow human being has eternal consequences.
If you trifle with the souls of men, turning them away from God and leading them in a way that would result in their damnation, you yourself will pay the full eternal consequences for your sin.

Yeah, like we're a bunch of ants or something. Endows us with desires, temptation, needs, and then sits back and watches if we pass the test. And if we don't, God help us.
Okay, that wasn't really an answer to your question. I think a mortal man be immortally judged by God because the most priceless thing in the universe is immortality, and God has dangled that carrot to make a point.

I suppose because as a "mortal" we have limits to our knowledge. God(assuming we are talking ab christianity) has absolute knowledge of every situation, the person's motivation, feelings, thoughts, past, everything that we dont have access to. The more knowledge you have the more fair the judgement will be. Thus, Gos is the best judge since he knows everything and we do not.

Who else do you think has the ability or the right, to judge mortals, except the one who created us. Do you think that we have a right or the ability to judge any one, when we are none perfect?

when GOD made man like himself. man/god of heart
had no sin and was HOLY and god nature by his design.
then enter sin..man fell out of god nature.
then come JESUS as man, who never sin..because a lamb and died for ALL of US..to give us a DOORWAY to heaven.
SO those who believe this..and declare this LOVE OF GOD for you..will be "SAVED as well engrafted into Christ's body..and can recieve the SPIRIT of GOD..too..at that very time..which I did..spoke in god's language at birth.(born again..means..i was DEAD..now ALIVE).
i went from mortal to immortal SPIRITUALLY.
why do we stay then.? heere on eaerth?
cause..CHRIST is a KING of kingds...and LORD oflords.
MEANING..government in heaven!
can ONE MAN..rule billions? no.
LIKE it was with moses..he was LEADER of 3 million.and the judge and jury of 3 millions.
wisdomcome and had 12 tribes..12 leaders, 100 and 50 under them.ect..created a government.
anyway..

JESUS BLOOD made me HOLY..what is there to JUDGE?

yet.my flesh man..steal..kill and destroy others and self.
as HE SAID>>RENEW YOUR MIND..and you will control the flesh man.
so in OBEDIENCE...sin don't kill.destroy and steal.
and prosperity and long life follow thereafter. till 120 years. or gluttony (sin) destroys /shorten our lives.
