Maybe he built his house on the brush instead of an a rock.
I bet some christians are in the flock fleeing the fires. I wouldn't read anything into it. In sure that no sensible god would burn down 625 houses just to make mel gibson flee his unburned house.

Mel did the Right thing.Someone who did'nt do the right thing was the old Man who decided to Stay in his Lodge at the Bottom of the Slopes of Mt St Helens when given specific warning..His still in there.. somewhere.

Er... because half of us are being evacuated because there are fires sprouting up FREAKIN EVERYWHERE down here? And the fact that the Santa Anas have been gusting around here for two days isn't exactly helping.

No it wasn't !!! God does not "work" that way ... people do (minus the "devine retribution", that is) ! What about the remainder of the fire victims, then ? We, humans screw up the ecology and it turns on us.
