She has spent her last couple of questions equating a belief in God to mental retardation, and she's entitled to her opinion no matter how juvenile... but to act superior like that... does that equal the qualification of a troll? Trying to disguise an insult as a debate? Just curious if anyone else espouses her beliefs? My guess is that she has managed even her fellow atheists who tend to be a little more secure with their belief and will at least admit, they have no more answers than those who believe in God do.

Riley: Really? Now you know you didn't even read that diatribe. All you do is waste time, but how come you can't debate, my email is open and available, bring it on... I've got nothing to hide. Let's see how articulate you are when you don't have an audience. But we also both know you don't want a debate, I suspect you are too afraid of your own failures.

Demeaning others beliefs is usually a sign of insecurity in your own beliefs. I'm all for debate, but not if the other person is ignorant enough to believe that they are the only one who has done their research (assuming that they have done any, which, unfortunately, is rarely the case).

Yes, calling people retarded for their beliefs is being a troll. I am sure I seem insulting sometimes but I'm not trying to insult anyone anymore than the original question. I know many intelligent theist in real life and online. They are intelligent, even if their beliefs frustrate and baffle me at times.

I don't click on such obviously juvenile questions to start with. Unless the question is in fun not contentious.

you should read AC's answer to my original question...it was exactly what I was looking for...it might enlighten you a bit....

There's really very little to debate....was a simple question that had an answer and AC gave me that answer....what more do you want? Do you really think I'm the first person to wonder what makes people believe such strange things?
