Okay well just so you know the history. I have had sharp pain maybe three or four times over the course of a few years not in my vagina but deeper almost my core kind of. But it only had lasted a few minutes then goes away. I dont think its anything. But just recently I thought I might have a hernia cause my lower abdomen on the right side hurts but just last night I realized in the crease between my lower abdomen and leg that I have a very tender lump. The other side is also a little tender but nothing like my right side. It feels like a lump but I dont know if it is or if its just a gland that hurts or something. I dont know my exact question I guess I just want to know if its normal to have a lump there? And do women ever get sharp pains like that? I had an abortion last week so I dont know if maybe the swollen lump is a symptom of an infection or what?

You should see a doctor just to be sure, because swollen lymph nodes are a sign of infection, and since you just got an abortion you need to be especially attentive to such signs.

I used to get those all the time. I think it is just a strain in the groin area. Very tender to touch and some activities make you very aware that they are there. After having an abortion, you may want to just run that by the doc, I'm just letting you know that I personally think this is a very normal part of being a woman. ;-)

I also recommend seeing a doctor to be sure; if it's infection, you'll need medication. Also tell him/her about your other pains that come off and on. Good luck!
