Salvation is a super-natural work of God, can anyone please show me in the Bible where I have a right to declare salvation on anyone. I see where it's my job to share, I don't see where it's my job to declare.

You can't. Know one knows another persons heart aside from God. However, peoples actions are generally a good indication.

I should say, only in the case when someone you know is doubting their salvation or lack thereof and asks you. (I've been asked.) Then you can say what Paul says, that if that person has really believed in their heart that Jesus is the Son of God and accepted Him as Lord and Saviour, and "confessed" it publicly (let others know) then yes, they are saved.

I don't know why Paul makes a point of the "confessing with your mouth" except that telling someone does give you a witness, so when the doubts come you know it's so.

As to whether or not it's "your job"--I see what you mean. There are so many "fire extinguisher" people out there who are quick to say, "Oh So-and-so isn't *really* saved." Like they would know. I am often tempted to quote right back at them that bit about "not all those who cry "Lord, Lord" will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

It's a human failing to want to judge others...funny how we so seldom judge them to be better than ourselves.

Only God knows the heart of man.

"Declare salvation on anyone" never heard of it.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. Believing indicates a willingness to follow Jesus tells us to
deny ourselves
take up our cross
and follow Him.

You can see the fruit of salvation in a person's life but,
like I said only God knows the heart of man.

You are correct in saying that it is your job to share, share the gospel of salvation. Faith comes by hearing.

You are right. Time will tell.

You could tell them IF you have truly repented THEN you are saved. Stuff like that.

People go thru motions a lot and still love their sins. So a sinner's prayer is no guarantee.

See if they do the stuff in 1 john & the bible
1) love the brethren
2) eat up the word
3) assemble together with other believers
4) love God
5) Acknowledge Jesus as GOD

Why would you want to? Are you collecting names so that you can feel good about yourself, or are you talking about someone else?

I know when someone is saved or not by the conversations I get into with them. They say certain things. The saved have a certain way of expressing it.

I find that those who want to 'declare' things which are not clear or present are trying to prove themselves to be especially clairvoyant; ahead of other people.

The Bible does not accord you any rights that you do not already have as a human being. And if you believe it word for word, it serves to take your right to sanity.

What do people need to be saved from? Hell?

When God supposedly gave us free will, did he not also reason that unpoliced morality is genuine and desirable whereas, morality that is" practiced" out of fear of punishment is false and akin to herding beasts with a prod?

Seems bloody obvious.

Thanks for the 2 points.

"And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained", John 20:22-23

Some will say that this gives them the authority, but what this verse is actually saying is the Church has the authority to prove wither it is sin or not.In these verse Jesus was speaking to the Apostles which was the church at that time.To further prove this look at Matthew 18:15-17.
"Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he {neglect to hear the church}, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican."

Sin is something much greater than just an offense.David after committing adultery and having killed the husband when asking forgiveness said: "Against thee, thee only, have I sinned......" Psalms 51:4a.God is the only One that we can sin against and the only One that can forgive sin.If I were to slap your brother in the face, could I go to you and have you forgive me for slapping your brother in the face? No, But you could say what I had done to your brother was wrong. This is what Jesus was proposing here in these scriptures.

AND FOR THOSE WHO ARE SAYING THAT WERE NOT SUPPOSED TO JUDGE TELL THEM TO READ: Matthew 7:5 they seem to get stuck at verse 1 of that chapter.

You are correct. You are to witness the gospel to that person and then It's up to God to do the rest.
Besides only God can draw people unto Himself and Only He knows the heart & Intent of that person.

Do not judge lest you be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you. (NASB) Matthew 7:1-2

Do not speak against one another, brethren. He who speaks against a brother, or judges his brother, speaks against the law, and judges the law; but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge of it. (NASB) James 4:11

But you, why do you judge your brother? Or you again, why do you regard your brother with contempt? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God. (NASB) Rom. 14:10

HOPE THIS HELPS!!
