typical anxiety dream....... don't let it get to you, just figure out what you are feeling anxiety for.....
are you worried about getting older? don' sweat that one,.... better to get older than not! do you have something due at work? are you worried about your relationship? or the other side of the coin, anxious about getting married, or even her wanting to get married? heck, it might not even be THAT serious..... could be the car payment is due and you consciously forgot that, but your dream is reminding you......
something simple is bothering you,..... maybe not consciously, but maybe subconsciously you are being reminded.
look at what is happening in your life right now, what bothers you, what doesn't, deal with it and the dream will go away......
at least until the next time you are feeling anxiety about something......

What were you falling down? If you are into the whole psychic thing, it could mean that your life or just your 27th year is going to spiral downward. If that is so hopefully you will have a dream of someone lifting you back up, be it God or a good friend. But if you don't go for all the "mind-reading", you just had a dream. I have woken up with a headache a couple of times before, that doesn't mean anything.Happy belated birthday!

"I'm Falling"
Falling dreams are another theme that is quite common in the world of dreams. Contrary to a popular myth, you will not actually die if you do not wake up before your hit the ground during a fall.
As with most common dream themes, falling is an indication of insecurities, instabilities, and anxieties. You are feeling overwhelmed and out of control in some situation in your waking life. This may reflect the way you feel in your relationship or in your work environment. You have lost your foothold and can not hang on or keep up with the hustle and bustle of daily life. When you fall, there is nothing that you can hold on to. You more or less are forced toward this downward motion without any control. This lost of control may parallel a waking situation in your life.
Falling dreams also often reflect a sense of failure or inferiority in some circumstance or situation. It may be the fear of failing in your job/school, loss of status, or failure in love. You feel shameful and lack a sense of pride. You are unable to keep up with the status quo or that you don't measure up.
According to Freudian theory, dreams of falling indicate that you are contemplating giving into a sexual urge or impulse. You maybe lacking indiscretion.
Falling dreams typically occur during the first stage of sleep. Dreams in this stage are often accompanied by muscle spasms of the arms, legs, and the whole body. These sudden contractions, also known as myclonic jerks. Sometimes when we have these falling dreams, we feel our whole body jerk or twitch and we awaken from this jerk. It is thought that this jerking action is part of an arousal mechanism that allows the sleeper to awaken and become quickly alert and responsive to possible threats in the environment.
According to biblical interpretations, dreams about falling have a negative overtone and suggest that man is acting and walking according to his own way of thinking and not those of the Lord.

When you feel like you are falling in a dream it generally means you are anxious or embarrassed about something. It can mean that you feel helpless. It also can mean that you feel like you are unsupported or that there is no one to help or 'catch' you. Falling or being in a runaway vehicle both mean you are stressed about something and probably not expressing it for fear of embarrassment, or because you don't know what to do or who to talk to.
Were you stressed about losing your code? Not knowing what to do about it? Embarrassed for losing it?
Not sure about if your birthday has anything to do with it.

Dreams of falling are always regressions to infantile sexuality. Small children have sexual desires, but they are not focused on procreation--or coitus--for obvious reasons. Instead their urges are diverted to the intake of nourishment (as in the oral stage)and elimination (as in the anal stage). This is possible because their sexuality is not focused on the genitals, but is instead diffuse. An infant's entire body can be considered a sex organ. It gives little children an erotic thrill to be tossed about and dropped and caught. In other words, falling is an infantile form of sexuality.
All dreams are disguised fulfillment of suppressed wishes. However, I wouldn't know what wish was being repressed in your case. But whatever it was, it was sexual.

It means you have a fear of something you have repressed for a long time.
I used to have dreams about falling a lot and one night in my dream I somehow rolled my body over, held out my arms like I was trying to fly and lo and behold I flew. I fly quite frequently in my dreams now.
Good luck

When you dream that you are falling, what is really happening is you are sleeping on your side. When you get the falling sensation you are rolling to your back. This roll is what makes you feel you are falling.
