The best thigh and calf muscle exercises are cycling, running, or even jogging on the spot if you need to do it indoors. The best floor exercises are where you lie on your back, then your front, and each side. On each occasion lie straight, keep the leg/s you are using straight and for muscle power, raise and lower your leg slowly. Feel the difference in tension, doing it slowly, rather than fast! Better still, try it on your front and back, raising and lowering one leg, then the other, then both together!
Good luck with your beefing up!

Stationary bike will not get you big at all.
It is designed to get you small if you are overweight, or as a great cardiovascular-endurance exercise. If you want to get big, then you MUST MUST MUST workout your legs with weights. Do calf raises for calves (multiple leg positions to make sure you work the whole muscle in order to maximize results). And for thighs, SQUATS, LEG EXTENSION MACHINE. But if you do thighs then you also must do hamstrings or your body will be offset and you WILL get injured. Good luck!

Run... and run some more. That's a free thing to do and all you need is some space either inside (if it's cold out) or to go outside.
And riding the stationary bike should be good but it isn't like riding a real bike. I ride a bike every now and then to some places when I run errands so that I can exercise. It's getting too could to do it now though.

If all you have is a stationary bicycle, then that is what you should use.
To get a good workout without being real conscious of it, have a good distraction while you do it: read a really good book, watch a movie, listen to your favorite heart-pounding music, phone a friend, etc.
