It was the Mayans who said that.

I personally don't watch his show but what little I have, I don't think he would've said that. He does preach the 'end of days' thing though....

I think hes a nutcase.

I assure you that the world will not end on December 12, 2012. In the book of Revelation, it tells us about a period of a thousand years of peace. Has this occurred already since the time of Jesus? Not yet. That will still come.

But there is something that is certain—and that is our physical death. It may come when least expected. We do not know the day and the hour. It will come like a thief in the night. So we just have to be prepared all the time. Search for the true God and when we find Him, follow His commandments and remain in Him until our last dying breath.

This is all that we have to do. It is faith in Him that we can take with us when we depart from this world. If we deny Him, He will deny us also before the Father in Heaven. If we know Him and love Him and followed His commandments, then He may reward us to live with Him eternally in His kingdom in Heaven.

Sorry, I missed that. But Jack of all people knows better than that. In fact he has said many times just the opposite. "No man knows the hour of Christ's return." Also, Jack Van Impe has on numerous occasions told the viewers ' Jesus returns to earth to reign for a thousand years, and so I know the world does not end since Jesus has not returned.'

Check your facts before reporting this rubbish. Jack will never say this.

From the restoration of Israel till the destruction of Jerusalem is 70 yrs. That means 2018 is the latest. because of God's elect it may be earlier, as much as 7 yrs. So the Season of Christ's return is between 2011 & 2018. My guess is between 2013 &2014.

Uh... that's actually the theory of one of those Native Central American tribes. I forget which one. And the reason is because Pluto is directly behind the Sun, from the point of view of the Earth. Which has never happened in the history of mankind. As to WHY that will end the world, I'm not sure.

I believe he credited someone else with coming up with that date but he seemed pretty gung-ho to it. It kind of surprised me because he does know Scripture. What's up with that?
