You are going through a trial right now but please believe me when I tell you that even though you are feeling that God is testing you he is right there with you. Just call on him and tell him about your heart ache. He knows already but you need that daily talk with him more for yourself than for him. You must not lean on your own understanding but trust in him to help you through. He will send you comfort, His ways are right, His word is everlasting, He will send you guidance, strength (that is a big one) Strength to carry on. Life seems so hard sometimes and if people would only call on him.Trust me! I do know how it feels to go through times of stress and depression, there have been times when I felt that he wasn't there but I was so wrong because when our friends and family fail us he never will.

It's perfectly ok for you to come to God because you are feeling weak or afraid. He is caring and compassionate and wants you to find peace and comfort in Him. That doesn't mean of course that you can just come to Him one day and leave the next. Its a personal relationship that you have to be involved in daily, and sure sometimes its hard, and sometimes people mess up, but thats ok. Trust me I've overcome more than I ever thought that I could, and to this day I truly doubt that I would have been able to without God's help every step of the way. If your thinking about becoming a Christian I think you definitely should research the faith (from a historical and biblical perspective), I know that helped me be able to believe on a much deeper level. Becoming a Christian was the single best decision I've ever made.

God never gives more than we can handle...so if ur getting a lot of crap put on u than that must mean that God thinks u are strong.Find a great church to go to with drums and loud music cuz not all churches are slow and boring...just in case thats what u were thinking...and once u get involved don't keep expecting the church to give to u ask ur self what can i do and give to the church......that will give u a purpose in life. We are fearfully and wonderfully made by Gods own Hand.
P.S read 'The Fathers Love Letter' it is brilliant its a thing where they have taken scriptures from the bible and rearanged it into a letter from God and it is just amazing and really lets ya no how much God loves ya.......you can find it by just typing it into google or whatever search engine ya use and they should all have it

I do not believe God gives us more than we can handle. It will be over soon, you shall see that everything will work out. It may take a few more days, weeks, or even months. But when you come to peace within yourself, peace shall be around you.
Whether you get that peace by praying to God, I can't tell you. I am a Christian and my faith is great thing for me to stand on.
You don't have to be a sheep just because you believe in a religion. That's a major misconception with religion!
I don't want to tell you my personal info, but I went through a lot of crap through highschool and by searching religion and finding what I believe to be the truth, that helped me a lot!
Just don't give up...ever.

Yes, I believe that God sees the "big picture" in our lives and that things happen for a reason. He does let us make choices but even when we choose something that is not the best...He will work things out for good if we stay on His side. (Romans 8:28)
You do not have to be a "sheep" in a religion to be saved...but you do need to be God's sheep. (John 10:14-16)
Here is what God says about us being weak....
"My strength (God's strength) is made perfect in weakness." (we are weakness). (2 Corinthians 12:9) God WANTS us to come to Him when we are afraid or scared. (Psalm 50:15) but He would also like us to come to Him for all other reasons....when we are happy, depressed, lonely, thankful....all reasons.
I will pray for you to know God....and to search for Him with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

If you haven't been that religious or believed in God very much I have a belief that you will find God very easily. It seems when people are 1st starting out on their spiritual walk they see God working in their life. It will grab you and you will become more faithful to prayer and belief and it won't be because you are a sheep it will be because you see how your life feels with God in it. Relax, for one and start talking to Him about everything. Tell Him what is going on in your life and how you need help with your depression and pain. Also, tell Him how you want to develop a relationship with Him and ask Him for help with that. I use to feel very close to God and enjoyed my prayers. He is amazing because He answers even the small prayers you don't tell Him about. Notice them. It will be for something stupid like you might have run out of tissues and forgot to pick up a box. Next thing you know someone comes into work and tells you they had some extra boxes of tissues and they didn't know what to do so they brought them into work. Say thank you and don't forget to say thank you to God. Watch how He works especially when you are new in your faith. He cares for you and He wants you to know it. May God bless you in your walk with Him.

You have found the right reason to seek God. It is not just fear that leads us to God. Seeking God so He can complete you and give you life eternally in heaven is why He wants us to approach Him. Seeking Him because we cannot find our own happiness and purpose is a good reason. Seeking Him will not make you a dumb sheep. God is not just a cosmic Santa Claus.
I realized that I could not succeed on my own and felt overwhelmed by pressures on me. After growing up in the church and going through Christian schools, I came to see my need for a Savior more fully. I asked Jesus to be my Savior.
You say that you feel alone. When you have Jesus, He is only a prayer away, so you are never alone.

I use to think like you. I thought religion was crap, I still do. I just felt it was a way to control. Especially, Christianity. I was so against Christianity. I thought the Bible was mythology you name I thought it. Until that day I was just bored. Nothing intrigued me anymore. I had my fair share of liquor, sex, flings, clubs and I wasnt' satisfied. I was bored. I was unhappy feeling like what is my purpose? I always thought there was a God. So began looking for different religion. Islam intrigued me because I just wasn't feeling Chrisitianity. But in Islam I found it hard to get connected with someone just to convert to a Muslim. So I said you know what im going to go to the church down the street from me and If i like it thats where im going to do. I went I loved it. I was welcomed and felt comfortable. I rededicated my life to Jesus and I been following the Lord every since. I haven't felt so happy in my life so confident about life. Its wonderful. I would encourage you to open you eyes and try something new. You might like the church down the street from you as well.

Yes. Things do happen for a reason. God is allowing troubles in your life to draw you to Himself, to show you your need of Him. Don't give up. Try asking the Lord into your life. I did a long time ago and He has helped me in countless ways. Don't be afraid to humble yourself before God. He loves you. His son, the Lord Jesus Christ, died for your sins and rose again. He has a plan for your life and suicide is not it. Just admit to God that you are a sinner and need His forgiveness. John 6:37 says "him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out". I received Christ during a time of stress in my life (serious illness in family) and He has been faithful to me for almost 30 years. Start reading the Bible (New Testament first). You'll find answers to all of your questions there. I'll pray for you.

When i was younger there were times when i was devastated over school, relationships etc.. and so i prayed. In time my troubles faded away with the help of my family and friends. I suppose I lost my faith God, but have gained something I believe to be much stronger. I have faith in the people who have helped me through my life.
So if you pray.... just know that those prayers may go unanswered.
So my advice to you would be talk to your family and friends. Your never alone.
