My daughter was crawling at 7 mos. and walking at 11 mos.. That said, your baby is not mine and any time between 6-10 months is average. There are some babies that never crawl. Walking norms average between 9-18 months. Remember that these are just averages and not necessarily the norm for every healthy baby.

My son was crawling by about 6-7 months and walking at 10 months. I don't know the average age, but the range for walking is anywhere between 9-18 months; I certainly wouldn't worry until after that range. Each child is different and focuses on different milestones within their own time table.

My daughter crawled at 9 months and walked at 13 months. She started "low crawling" around 7 months, which means she scooted herself across the floor with her belly still down. She started crawling the "right" way though at 9 mos. I have read in many different places though that boys start crawling and walking a little earlier than girls.

My daughter crawled at 8 months, stood unsupported at 10 months, and walked a week before her 1st birthday.

I've known babies who walked as early as 9 months, and as late as 20 months, so there's quite a range.

Crawl (or creep) between 8 and 10 months, stand alone momentarily at 10 months, and walking at 12 months.

I always thought it was 10 or 11 months. My oldest son didn't start until he was 15 months and the doctor said there wasn't anything wrong with that. He said the average age was 13 months.

I don't know how true it is but that's what I was told.

Crawling is usually around 6 months. Walking around a year. Could be earlier, could be later depending on when they want to do it.
