call the credit card company & report it stolen. dispute any items that you did not authorize. report the fraud with your local police & provide them all necessary information.

Call Trans Union Fraud Dept toll free @ 1-800-680-7289 and have it put on Fraud Alert. They will notify the other 2 Bureaus for you at no charge. Then request your free credit report from anualcreditreport.com or call them toll free @ 1-877-322-8228. If the fraud account is on your report, depite it. They have 30 days to reply. Do not face the person you think commited this act. Let's the Bank and Credit Bureau handle it.

Are you saying someone opened a credit card in your name that you didn't know about? Don't play detective.

Call the credit card company and report it. Get a copy of your credit report (AnnualCreditReport.com) and check for any accounts that are not yours. Put a fraud alert on your credit at all three credit bureaus.

File a police report, inlcuding the name of whoever you suspect.

If you play around with this, you could well be held responsible for the charges.

Crdiet cards have credit card numbers and account numbers? Mine never did.

Ina ny event, I would explain this to your bank in the off chance they can make heads or tails of it. I can't.

Doesn't matter what bank it is. If this is a VISA card
call

1-800-VISA-911 tell them your problem and you think it is fraud. They will have access to your info.

I'm sure mastercard has the same thing

If someone is using your card without your permission, and you don't talk to the card issuer right away, you run the risk of being responsible for all the charges.
