Here some basic tenants of my religion
1)We have genuine love among ourselves.(John 13:34, 35)
2)We have a deep respect for the Bible and accept it as the
Word of God and believe what it says (John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16, 17)
3) Like Christ Jesus, we honor God’s name. (Matthew 6:9)
4) Also like Christ Jesus, we preach about God’s Kingdom. (Luke 8:1; Matthew 28:18-29)
5) We are no part of this wicked world and do not get involved in the world’s political affairs and social controversies. We avoid the harmful conduct, practices, and attitudes that are common in the world. (James 1:27; 4:4; John 17:16)
From this description alone can you guess what my religion is?

Atheism (if thats even a religion lol)

Atheism, as a philosophical view, is the position that either affirms the nonexistence of gods or rejects theism. When defined more broadly, atheism is the absence of belief in deities, alternatively called nontheism. Although atheism is often equated with irreligion, some religious philosophies, such as secular theology, or some varieties of Theravada Buddhism, lack belief in a personal god.

I am a Seventh-day Adventist Christian. Adventist observed the Sabbath(Saturday) as the true day of Worship. We also refrain from eating unclean foods such as Pork, rabbits, shell fish, catfish. These are scavengers and the Bible prohibits them for human consumption. Smoking, Alcohol, and narcotics are forbidden in our church.

We believe that Christ died on the Cross for the sins of the world. We believe that Jesus is God. We believe that through the shed blood of Christ our sins are forgiven.

We believe in Righteousness by faith.
We believe in Baptism by Immersion.
We believe in Communion.
We belive in the soon coming of Christ as the Bible plainly reveals.

We believe in the Sanctity of human life. We are against war. We are humanitarians. We believe in alleviating suffering by our involvement. We feed the poor around the world. We believe that the Bible is the Inspired word of God.

John 3:16
Romans 10:9

We have miilions of members in our Church fellowship around the globe.

God, throughout History has sought a connection to Humanity by which He can transform us for the better. Once we were connected to God. Then we became separated from Him because of Sin.

Since that time Humanity has done many evil and wicked things and continues to do so up to the present. God commands us to righteousness, and punishes sin. Four thousand years ago He chose a man from which to build a nation that would be called by His name and would have a special unique relationship with Him, a Kingdom of Priests, a Holy Nation.

Two thousand years ago that promise was extended to all of Humanity through the Covenant of Jesus Christ, who suffered God's punishment for sin in place of us, and who offers us redemption from our past and eternal life with God if we submit to Him, repent of our misdeeds and commit ourselves to His will.
